WAMC/Northeast Public Radio is a regional public radio network serving parts of seven states. These include New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania. Stations and translators are in twenty locations throughout the region. WAMC is a member of National Public Radio and an affiliate of Public Radio International. They operate 24 hours a day, every day of the year thanks to a very dedicated group of board members, staff, interns, and volunteers.

Mission Statement: WAMC is chartered by the New York State Board of Regents to furnish, prepare, and present non-profit and non-commercial educational, instructional, and cultural radio programs and also non-profit and non-commercial programs for live audiences which may also be broadcast.


Our Connection:

Family Discretionary Grant. Public radio is a great way to stay up-to-date on local and global events and our family in NY wanted to contribute to their local radio station in order to help support them in their mission to provide unbiased news and entertainment.
