Project Hawai’i

United States

Project Hawai’i works throughout the year to provide life changing opportunities to the children living in extreme poverty situations. Providing interactive solutions that help the children to grow and break the cycle of homelessness within their own lives is one of their major goals. They hope to help them escape their cycle of poverty by helping them gain self-esteem, build life and social skills and keep them healthy.

Mission Statement: Their mission is to enhance the lives of homeless children throughout the year by providing interactive programs.

Our Connection:

Family Discretionary Grant. Many members of the Skees Family reside in Hawai’i, and this organization is near and dear to them. They support the organization in working with their youth to provide sustainable ways out of the poverty cycle that traps too many people in their community.
